Enjoy the Lap of Luxury in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is an iconic city, known for its casinos, entertainment and some of the largest hotels in the world. It’s featured in many Hollywood films, as have some of its most famous hotels too. Many of these hotels are located on the infamous Las Vegas “Strip”, which has become a magnet for tourists to visit even if they aren’t staying in one of the hotels located there. It is especially spectacular to visit at night, with breath-taking water and light shows and so much to see.

The every-changing skyline never gets boring and we’re going to looking at some of the top hotels to visit whilst you’re there.

The Bellagio

As one of the most well known hotels in Vegas, the Bellagio offers the glitz of Vegas, with a touch of class. It has so much to offer, from the beautiful Italian themed Courtyard, to the many amenities on offer, which include five gorgeous outdoor swimming pools, nearly 4000 decadent rooms with marble bathrooms, botanical gardens, a fitness club and spa as well as one of the best Buffets on the Strip. And of course, there is a gaming floor there too!

The Venetian Resort Hotel

This hotel resort located right in the centre of The Strip brings Venice to the desert, with gondola rides and a replica of Saint Mark’s Square. Like the Paris and New York hotels, this concept is slightly insane, but exceptionally well done. The Venetian Hotel Resort takes luxury to the next level with just over 5000 enormous rooms, over 20 premier restaurants and world-class Canyon Ranch Spa.

The MGM Grand

This is the biggest hotel in Las Vegas, with 5,044 rooms! With so many amenities, you literally don’t need to leave the hotel as everything is under one roof. It has a giant casino, celebrity chef restaurants, enormous fun pool complex and plenty of on-site entertainment. The only downside, is that the sheer scale of this place means plenty of walking to get around, but it’ll definitely be worth it when you get there.

The Mandarin Oriental

This hotel stands apart on the Strip. Located in the City Center Hotel it is host to a modest 392 rooms. But what it lacks in room numbers, it makes up for in so many other ways. The bedrooms are elegantly decorated with exquisite bathrooms. The atmosphere is laid-back, which is rare in Vegas, with two on-site restaurants, pool and spa facilities and a level of service that is hard to beat.

The Wynn Las Vegas

This has got to be one of the most extravagant hotels in Las Vegas. The attention to detail in design and amenities is exceptional from huge rooms with remote-controlled drapes to the eight premier restaurants. It also plays host to a nightly light show on the “Lake of Dreams”, which is in front of the only man-made mountain on the Strip. The whole place needs to be seen to be believed, but you are guaranteed to have a good time.

With so much choice in these hotels, the prices vary widely from as little as $79 to thousands of dollars a night.
